As invited by MSC vessel SKY Ⅱ , arrived in CHANG HONG
INTERNATIONAL shipyard on 15th Dec.2022.for yard formalities, and started BHC
test & 60% MBL setting for all mooring winches on 29th Dec.2022.
Here are the details as follows:
1. BASIC PLATE AND PINS.
Before brake test, we checked all mooring winch condition. We found that basic
plate and pins of AFT. middle (starboard side) winch were worn, cannot be
available, advised changed new one.
2. BRAKE FORCE TEST.
We installed special tool and connected hydraulic jack and pump accurately, and
then one by one to test.
3. 60% MBL SETTING.
When increased hydraulic pressure and it arrived near 3 M pa which arrived
corresponding 60% MBL, we hold hydraulic pressure and then marked obviously on
plate which near control screw shaft.
